Born in Connecticut and raised on 70s/80s/90s classics and the 1986 movie adaptation of Annie, Abby Malczon fell in love with performance at a very young age. Her work is infused with the rock and pop vocal stylings of the ages and has been referred to as a musical theatre "unicorn" for her vocal versatility. She received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. She has originated the role of Demetria/Medea in the world premiere musical Grecian Burns where she was recognized by the American College Theatre Festival for Distinguished Achievement in Performance. This powerhouse onstage enjoys the simple joys in life offstage as a die-hard Survivor fan, Philly sports fanatic (go birds!), and AMC frequenter.
